Winter Woodland Artificial Flower Arrangement
Winter arrangements tend to go one of two ways: full-on festive reds, or muted and dried. This one does neither. It feels like a walk through a frost-covered garden where the whites and greens are still very much alive.
White ranunculus in two forms — single stems with their tightly layered petals and sprays with smaller clustered blooms — provide the flowers. Hellebores add their open, cup-shaped faces in white with pale green centres and fine yellow stamens. Between them, snowberry stems bring their small cream clusters on dark branches.
The foliage is where the woodland character comes from. Cypress bush contributes dense, textured greenery that looks and feels like it was cut from a hedge. Bracken fern extends outward with feathered fronds. Nettle leaf adds a softer, more meadow-like element. Together, they give the arrangement a natural, slightly wild shape that is deliberately imperfect.
At 75cm, it suits a round ceramic or a bulb-shaped vase where the foliage can spread. Living rooms, entrance tables, bedrooms. It works from October through to March without feeling tied to any one occasion.
A winter garden that never sees a frost.
