Autumnal Aura Arrangement
This is an autumn arrangement that doesn't shout about it. The palette is mostly green, with purple dried-look hydrangeas serving as the focal point. Their veined, muted petals have that naturally aged quality that real hydrangeas get when they dry on the stem, and they bring enough colour to carry the arrangement without needing anything louder around them.
The rest is all foliage and texture. Green and white viburnum add soft, clustered heads that break up the leaf shapes. Skimmia brings its dense, budded structure. Pittosporum threads through with smaller, variegated leaves.
Eucalyptus adds its silvery-green discs, while green berry sprays and a seed head fill in the gaps with fine, detailed interest. Ivy with purple berries trails at the edges to soften things.
At 55cm, it's a compact piece that suits a kitchen island, coffee table or wide console. It sits well in a wide-mouth vase or ceramic pot where it can spread naturally rather than being forced upright.
